Lavilla Mexican Grill is a small family type restaurant run by a couple from Mexico City. It is not Tex-Mex, these are well prepared dinners at prices you can afford. We highly recommend it.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">Fish Hawk Ranch Trails<a href=\"https:\/\/bcpoa.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/FishHawkTrails_thumb-25255B3-25255D.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" style=\"display: inline;\" title=\"FishHawkTrails\" src=\"https:\/\/bcpoa.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/FishHawkTrails_thumb-25255B3-25255D-300x183.jpg\" alt=\"FishHawkTrails\" width=\"950\" height=\"578\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Right next to our campground is a housing development that has miles of beautiful concrete trails that wind through natural areas with lots of wildlife. These are shown in Orange on the map above. Another benefit for us is there are two large grocery stores both Publix and Winn Dixie that we can ride our bikes to. I use panniers on my bike to carry groceries.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" style=\"background-image: none; float: left; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; margin: 0px 5px 0px 0px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"Launch Area on River\" src=\"https:\/\/bcpoa.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/Kayak_Alafia-300x204.jpg\" alt=\"Launch Area on River\" width=\"420\" height=\"286\" align=\"left\" border=\"0\" \/>Today all of the sudden we finally got warm weather, the temps got into the high 70\u2019s.<\/p>\n<p>The river was a low 90 cfs but it looked high enough for us to paddle both upstream and downstream.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" title=\"Aerial View of Lithia Springs \" src=\"https:\/\/bcpoa.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/Lithia-252520Springs-252520Aerial_thumb-25255B2-25255D-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"Aerial View of Lithia Springs \" width=\"426\" height=\"240\" border=\"0\" \/>So Peggy &amp; I launched our canoe near our campsite and Bob did a seal launch into the river.<br \/>\nWe only paddled 4-1\/2 miles altogether. It took us an hour to paddle upstream to the Lithia-Pinecrest bridge. We saw lots of big turtles but no gators.\u00a0 We paddled back downstream past the camp to the outlet of the Spring and then back to camp in another hour.
